Shaheed Roshan Singh was an Indian revolutionary who was Previously sentenced in the Bareilly Shooting case during Non cooperation Movement of 1921-1922. After release from Bareilly Central Jail, he joined the Socialist Republican Association in 1924. Although he had not taken part in Kakori Conspiracy, yet he was arrested and confined to capital punishment of death sentence by the then British Government. Later he was hanged to death on the 19th of December 1927 in the Malaka Jail of Allahabad (Now Prayagraj). This jail has since converted to Allahabad Medical College.
